Wong Ling Yuan, PsyD., BCBA
Dr. Ling Yuan obtained his Doctorate of Psychology (Psy. D) in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University in California. He is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has had 9 years of experience in conducting clinical research and 20 years of field experience working with clients between the ages of 3 and 60 with developmental disorders (ASD, GDD, ID, ADHD, Down Syndrome). As a clinical psychologist and BCBA, he specializes in training fellow therapists, conducting assessments, designing comprehensive therapeutic programs, and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities and mental health concerns.
Dr. Ling Yuan’s experience in LGBTQ communities and culturally diverse settings has taught him the importance of designing holistic programs that acknowledge, respect, and integrate clients’ perspectives, cultural beliefs, and personal values. As a strong advocate of holistic therapeutic methods, he utilizes and synthesizes a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and integrative therapy to help clients identify their innate strengths and overcome their personal challenges. It is his belief that multi-disciplinary approaches have the capacity to help clients utilize their unique strengths and decrease maladaptive behaviors in order that they may flourish and thrive within society.
Dr. Ling Yuan’s passion and ultimate goal in life is to create an integrated society for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health concerns and increase public awareness and acceptance of individuals with developmental challenges. In order to achieve his goal, he strongly believes in the importance of training fellow clinicians and equipping them with the essential knowledge and skills that they require to design and provide holistic and effective intervention.
Abigail Chang, BSc. Developmental Psychology (Hons), Master of Guidance & Counseling (Ongoing)
Abigail Chang graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Developmental Psychology. She obtained First Class Honors in her area of specialization. She is a Behavioral and Developmental Therapist with 7 years of experience in the mental health and special needs education sector. She is also a certified mindfulness trainer who designs and implements counseling, psychotherapeutic, and behavioral programs.
Abigail works with individuals with anxiety, stress, depression, Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and intellectual disorder. She designs and implements early intervention programs for toddlers, therapeutic intervention programs for children and adolescents, and individualized parent training programs. In addition, she trains behavioral therapists and partners with multidisciplinary teams involving educators, psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists.
As a passionate human-centric clinician, Abigail’s individualized programs are a holistic blend of applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and parent-child relationship development. Her ultimate goal is to help children and adolescents acquire a wide variety of skills to thrive and flourish while equipping parents with vital knowledge and tools that can be used throughout their children’s developing years.
